Flexible Joints

RSA products include bellows-based flexible joints which are often used in ducting systems to accommodate relative movement and thermal expansion effects.

RSA specializes in design and manufacture of both bellows ball joints (BBJs) and gimbal joints which are commonly found in applications where system loads need to be minimized while enduring high pressures and temperatures. RSA designs and manufactures flexible joints ranging in size from 1″ dia. up to 8″ dia. operating at pressures exceeding 800 psi.

With a customer’s performance specification in-hand, RSA will provide guidance in selecting the right type of flex joint for the application, working from either an existing portfolio of joints currently available and in use, of if necessary RSA will design a new joint custom engineered to the customer’s needs.
